Privacy Policy

Maviro Uploader · Effective October 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Maviro Uploader ("the Application"), operated by the owner of the Maviro YouTube channel ("we", "us"), handles information when it uses YouTube API Services.

1. What the Application is

Maviro Uploader is a private, single-user desktop application that runs on the channel owner's own computer. It is used solely by the channel owner to upload, schedule, and update YouTube Shorts on the owner's own Maviro YouTube channel, and to read the status of those videos. It is not distributed to or used by the public.

2. Use of YouTube API Services

The Application uses YouTube API Services. By using the Application, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service: https://www.youtube.com/t/terms. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy: http://www.google.com/policies/privacy.

3. Information accessed, collected, and stored

The Application does not access, collect, or store data about any other YouTube user. It does not use cookies, analytics, advertising identifiers, or tracking of any kind.

4. How information is used

Information is used only to upload, schedule, and manage videos on the owner's own channel and to verify those actions. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose.

5. Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share any information obtained through YouTube API Services with any third party. Data is exchanged only between the owner's computer and Google/YouTube.

6. Retention and deletion

Locally stored API data is kept only as long as needed to manage the channel's videos and is refreshed or deleted within 30 days unless the owner keeps it for their own records. The owner can delete all locally stored tokens and data at any time by deleting the Application's data folder.

You can revoke the Application's access to your Google account at any time through the Google security settings page: https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. Revoking access immediately stops the Application from accessing YouTube data.

7. Security

Credentials and data are stored on a private, password-protected computer and are never committed to shared storage or public repositories.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
